The Chopard Mille Miglia is a true sports car lover’s watch. The company designed this watch to pay tribute to the famous Mille Miglia car race. The Mille Miglia is a 1,000 km race that is arranged in Italy every summer. The racetrack spreads from Rome to Presca and back to Rome. Chopard has been developing and producing the Mille Miglia watches since 1988. Chopard designs a new Mille Miglia Collection each and every year. The race features historic racecars from all the continents.
The Mille Miglia Collection has a classic round case with a Tachymeter bezel. This timepiece is presented in a chrono version and an automatic version. The treatments of the face are very nice. Chopard has projected a face that has a round guilloche treatment on the sub dials. This ornamentation boosts the race car feel of the watch. The dial is easy to read as it has luminescent marks and hands and a dazzle-proof crystal. The date window is nicely set between the four and five o’clock hour markers.
Chopard offers several diverse face color variants. Our preferred face is the white one with black sub dials. There is also a completely black face version. The Mille Miglia Racing Colors limited edition series features five versions including diverse face colors: gray, black, red, yellow, and blue.
