The Carrera Panamericana was an epic race that was founded in the 1950s and welcomed many of the leading drivers of the time. Juan Manuel Fangio (June 24, 1911 - July 17, 1995), the famous Argentinian driver who was a quintuple Formula 1 World Champion, won the race in 1953.
