The Breitling Aerospace is designed primarily for aviators. This watch is rugged, thick, yet not heavy – just what a real tough man wants. Breitling manufactures the Aerospace in titanium, 2-tone titanium and an 18-karat gold version. The titanium version is the most popular because it is so light consequently making it easy to wear by aviators for a long time.
The quartz movement inside the Aerospace makes this watch low-maintenance and awfully reliable. The Aerospace is part of the Professional Collection which includes the Emergency watches, and it shares many of the same design features. The face has a digital and analog display. The analog display of the Aerospace has a minute and hour hand. There are two digital displays, one below the 12 o'clock marker, and one above the 6 o'clock marker. The upper digital display window shows the function adjusting, while the lower window shows the info for that function.
The Aerospace also has a two-directional, ratcheted bezel. This is a clever design because it precludes the bezel from accidentally moving. To adjust it you just have to apply some pressure and move. Similar to all Breitling watches the Aerospace is water resistant. It is waterproof up to 328 feet. The Aerospace is available in three face colors: blue, gray, and black. The Breitling Aerospace comes with a titanium bracelet or leather band. There is one unique version of the Aerospace that includes a compass and second time zone in a separate case which is integrated into the bracelet. This is an excellent wristwatch and the second case and time zone serve as a fine conversation starter.
