The history of Harry Winston Watch Company goes back to 1947. The company’s founder was called “The King of Diamonds”. He designed the most daring jewels ever created and established the tradition of making Hollywood stars sparkle on Oscar nights.
Ronald Winston, the founder’s son, took over the firm after his father had passed away. He was committed to Harry’s philosophy “nothing but the exceptional”. The vintage spirit
This stylish and complicated watch is fully worthy of its name. It shows the Harry Winston designers’ passion for unique and excellently manufactured things. The ornamental design of the steel-colored face of the watch is directly inspired by the dashboards of vintage English automobiles: engine-turned or circular-grained – the latter being a finish usually reserved for the movement. The “vintage” character of this version is boosted by the gasoline-blue color of the hour digits, the hands and the two screws on either side of the tourbillon carriage. Another important detail is the wristlet, made of actually exclusive black alligator leather, which has been specially polished, and has a gasoline-blue back.
The sports spirit watches
This sports edition of the Project Z3 features a face adorned with the well-known “Cotes de Geneve” in a dark, intriguing shade that makes a pleasing contrast with the luminosity of the steel bridges on either side of the tourbillon carriage.
