In February, 2006 the prominent Swiss watch-making company, Jaeger-LeCoultre held a special watch exhibition at the Conrad Hong Kong Hotel. The brand’s idea was to demonstrate the fresh creations of high jewelry watches - the legendary Reverso, Joaillerie 101, Ideale, Master Compressor Chronograph Lady, as well as highly complicated timepieces embellished with jewels demonstrating the Gem-setting technique, the exquisite art relevant to the field of Haute Joaillerie.

Among the exhibits there were a few pieces of antique watches chosen exclusively from Jaeger-LeCoultre Museum presented separately from the newly created ones. The exhibition was also visited by Mr. Joseph Hoareau, the skillful gem-setter working at the Swiss factory of Jaeger-LeCoultre since 1990, whose task was to inform the visitors about the gem-setting technique.

The snow-setting technique was applied for developing the Ideale watches with the tiniest diamonds, united harmoniously in bold arrangements. The rock setting was also specially developed to create the full brilliance of diamonds.

The Reverso Sertie Neige line comprises spinning, eye-catching, refined timepieces with subtle personality. It marks the appearance of a new boldly designed new generation of Haute Joaillerie creations. The timepieces feature the reversible case, as well as every characteristic hallmark of the famous Reverso line. The Joaillerie 101 Etrier watch has gained the status of a classic watch-making representative of tomorrow. The timepiece is powered by one of the oldest and obviously the smallest movement ever created by the brand.
